the unwanted vacation

vacations, they say, are needed to rejuvenate oneself....well, if u are an engineering grad...and that too if you have just completed your four years of stardom, the vacation that comes at the end of these four years is no less than a punishment.....because vacation is what we were having for the past four years...a time to discover and define oneself.Boys became men in this while....girls are a weird specie...more on them later.!!
yeah...so this is an unwanted vacation because now we are captives....captives of time, captives of parents, captives of circumstances and captives of unimaginative surroundings...all conspiring together to make a zombie of us...as now we have absolutely nothing to do which is of purpose....earlier there were long chats about nothing in particular and everything in general with friends, long sessions of tea at a road side dhaba, shared fags.....you know, the works...all of that had a purpose, a meaning...you got to know so many people, learnt how to analyze things, and human behaviour too....all adding up to enhance your personality....it's all gone now...leaving us to find whatever solace we can get in our computers, on the internet and in some cases in the idiot box (a BIG no-no for me) ....i need work...something, anything...am addicted to work, it acts as a stimulant for me...so this is an appeal to all my friends...gt something that needs to be done...tell me...i'll do it...with pleasure!!!
