Books....can't get enough of them....thing is,they don't write as fast as i lap 'em up!!!although i like reading all sorts of stuff, a perennial favourite is Jeffery Archer....agreed, he's the stereotyped author...writes pacy fiction...but he's different with that as well.Be it his early works like Not A Penny More, Not A Penny Less or his recent marvels like Prisoner Of Birth, this man rocks!!!although by his own standards ,his latest books are his weakest ones but for a new reader even those are mesmerising....
Kane And Abel, in my opinion ,is the best book written, ever...and yes, i say this after reading The Godfather, The Fountainhead, The Alchemist, and what you may...
Kane and Abel might have been panned by critics as regular fiction stuff, but the fact that it's sold over 2.5 million copies says it all!!!the way Archer writes is truly a work of art...he literally transforms you into the person you are reading about or even transfers you to the era you are reading about in the book, the case in point here being 1905-1980s....a full fledged review comes soon....

Have u read Jeff Archer's As the crow flies.. true, it's not that well-known as Kane and Abel.. but it is excellent... a perfect rags to riches pot-boiler..
